Welcome to Joyous Cakes!
My name is Molly Burnette and I live in Austin, Texas. I designed Joyous Cakes as a way to celebrate the love and creative gifts of the Abba - The Holy Spirit and love in all of us. The cakes are creative and loving - filled with great flavors and delicious! They are often made with organic ingredients and each one is unique in character and flavor. This is mainly a business for wedding cakes and specialty birthday cakes.
I am originally trained as a painter and have earned a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After my time in Colorado, I chose to attend and graduate from Culinary School in Paris, France during 1988-1989- at La Varenne, Ecole de Cuisine. I now reside in Austin, Texas and am happily making cakes for clients in the Austin and surrounding Central Texas area.
